Stonework is the foundation in which your overall landscape design is built from. The art of dry-laid stonework is an age-old tradition that refrains from using any mortar between the stones. This technique uses the weight of the stone stacked in a certain way to disperse the down pressure caused by gravity to help keep the wall intact. This technique also allows for better drainage to relieve any hydraulic pressure that may cause problems otherwise.

Once the foundation is set, plants are often used to soften the landscape and to bring an array of colors and shapes that are pleasing to view.
